Tacoma Maritime Fest

Tacoma Maritime Fest is the only annual celebration of Tacoma’s most important asset: its waterfront. Join us July 28th and 29th, 10:00 - 5:00 pm, at this all-ages event and be part of this valued maritime tradition that honors Tacoma’s rich maritime history, the trades that defined its past, and the activities and industry that shape it now. Admission to Maritime Fest is FREE, and so are our activities, which include visiting the Foss Waterway Seaport museum, boarding the boats, making toy boats, going out on FREE boat tours of the Foss Waterway and the Port of Tacoma, watching live music, and so much more! Daffodil Festival

April – The Festival is an annual event that culminates in April with a Grand Floral Street Parade, which travels through the cities of Tacoma, Puyallup, Sumner and Orting, all in one day.

Farmer's Market

Tuesdays & Thursday, May through October – The Tacoma Farmers Market is a non-profit organization that is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors, paid staff and a handful of generous volunteers. The markets typically offer fresh fruits and vegetables, such as; Strawberries, Apples, Pears, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Eggplant, and Green Beans.



Artwalk

3rd Thursday of the month, year round – Artwalk was launched in 1989 by a small but dedicated group of artists and gallery owners to help draw more patronage to the downtown arts scene of Tacoma. Admission to participating museums and galleries is free on this day.



Zoolights

Late November through December – The Zoo comes aglow with more than a half-million lights! Bundle up and stroll the Zoo, enjoying live entertainment, animal visits, holiday shopping and more. Warm up with hot chocolate or a visit to the steamy South Pacific Aquarium!

Tacoma Festival of Sail
